Rogueish

Ahhh, my Rogue Wave CD came. After seeing them last week, I think I can safely say this album does much more justice to how fucking amazing they are live than the first two albums do. It seems with the change of labels their sound has been able to get even bigger and better. Ohhh it's just amazing. And also has Matt Caws from Nada Surf singing on a couple of the tracks - what more could I ask for?
Like an idiot I forgot to take my camera with me today, and as it always is, there were loads of things I wanted to take photos of as I walked from work to Trumpington this evening. The sunset was amazing. I love spring, and walking past the Botanic Gardens is so nice because you can see all the flowers that are starting to bloom. Ahhhh laaa.
There seem to be a lot of ladybirds in my house at the moment. The other day we had a black one with red dots, rather than the other way around. Then yesterday we had a "normal" one. Ladybirds are cool.
There was an earthquake last night, apparently the worst one in 20 or 25 years in England. The epicentre was in Lincoln, but it seems the shockwaves reached here, and further. I wasn't woken up by it though. I've always been one of those people who just sleeps through stuff, like really bad storms, and in the morning I wake up and my family say "did this wake you up last night" and I'm like "...that happened?"
Things at work are getting busy again. I think in a month's time I'll probably miss the days of sitting around looking at Facebook, but currently it's a nice change, despite the fact my reading time is being eaten in to. And now it's almost 8pm, and I'm wasting time because I didn't go to my tutorial. I think I'll try and finish Picture of Dorian Grey by the end of the week. Then I can start something else on my list of books I need to read, and therefore eventually allow myself to start buying more books.

I walked past a Big Issue seller today, and he asked me if I wanted one, I said "no thanks" and he said "I don't blame you - have a nice day" it made me smile.
